1. Who is responsible
CGode Dev (cgode.dev) is responsible for this website and the apps CGode PDF and CGode Shift. Contact: info@cgode.dev.
2. The apps
CGode PDF and CGode Shift run entirely on your computer. Your files are opened, edited and converted on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The apps do not collect usage statistics, crash reports or personal information, and they do not need an account.
The apps save a few settings on your own computer so they work the way you like, for example your language, theme and the list of recently opened files. These settings never leave your computer. Uninstalling the app and deleting its folder removes them.
An app only uses the internet if you choose to, for example when you click a web link inside a document, which opens in your browser.
3. This website
- No cookies or trackers. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from other companies.
- One note in your browser. When you agree to the Terms of Use before downloading, your browser remembers the date of the terms you accepted (in local storage), so you are not asked again for the same version. It is stored only in your browser and is never sent to us. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.
- Server logs. Like every website, the server that hosts this site may automatically record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used only to keep the site working and secure, and are deleted after a short period.
4. When you contact us
If you use our support or app-idea forms, or write to us by email, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you, help you, and improve our apps. We do not sell them, rent them or use them for advertising.
Depending on how this site is set up, a form may either open your own email app with your message ready, or deliver your message to our inbox through a form delivery service that acts only on our instructions. Please do not send passwords or private documents in a message.
We keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request and our follow-up, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
5. Links to other services
Our pages link to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and cgode.dev. When you open those links, the other service's own privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Just email info@cgode.dev. We handle personal data in line with the laws that apply to us, including Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
7. Children
Our website and forms are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
